Guaranty Policy

Roll-Rite® guarantees all of its products, except tarps, to be free of defects in material or workmanship under normal use and service for a period of one year from the date of shipment.

In addition, Roll-Rite® guarantees all of its electric and hydraulic gear motors against premature wear-out. Gear motors using worm gears are warranted against premature wear-out for a period of three (3) years. Gear motors using spur and/or helical gears are warranted against premature wear-out for a period of five (5) years.

Roll-Rite® shall be the sole judge as to whether alleged product defects or premature wear-out are subject to guaranty. Roll-Rite® reserves the right to refuse to honour this guaranty for any products that have been repaired, modified, altered, improperly installed, used, abused, subject to misuse, negligence, accident, or damaged including modifications to electrical specifications or other problems not due to defects in Roll-Rite® workmanship or materials.

Except as outlined below, this guaranty is specifically limited to the replacement or repair, at Roll-Rite®´s option, of any such defects or premature wear-out subject to guaranty, without charge, when the complete product is returned to the factory freight prepaid. Roll-Rite® will not repair or replace a product that fails or malfunctions due to ordinary wear and tear. 

You must obtain a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number before returning the product.
To apply for a RGA number use our online RGA Form Here – or – contact the factory at +1-989-345-3434. The costs of returning the product are to be bore by the customer without any valid claim against Roll-Rite to have them reimbursed. Products received without a RGA number clearly marked on the outside of the package will be refused.

Products that are returned for guaranty examination and that are found to be not subject to guaranty are chargeable. Damaged products that are not subject to guaranty will only be returned to the customer if this is requested before any work has begun. The customer will be responsible for the cost of repair, storage and return shipping of products not subject to guaranty. Payment authorization must be received by Roll-Rite® before any equipment not subject to guaranty is returned.

Products subject to guaranty are repaired or replaced at no charge and returned freight prepaid via the same or comparable means that were used to send the product in. Repair or replacement of such products is at Roll-Rite®’s discretion, with replacement being made using currently available models or parts performing the same or similar functions. Labour charges, other than those incurred at our factory, including but not limited to any labour to install a repaired or replacement product, are not covered under this guaranty and shall be bore by the customer. 

This limited guaranty excludes all other guaranties, express or implied. Except as specifically outlined above, Roll-Rite® shall not be liable for guaranty in any amount exceeding the purchase price of the goods. Roll-Rite® shall not be liable for any special incidental or consequential damages. This guaranty, that applies to the original customer only, gives you specific legal rights. It is governed by German law without regard to conflict of laws. UN purchasing law (CISG) is excluded.
